Can Yahoo services go into your email and send your personal emails to other people?

I know a person who was told that Yahoo services was going to go into her personal email account and email her saved emails to other people. Is this possible? Will Yahoo services actually do this and if so, is that even legal?

    No, it is NOT legal and they will NOT do this.

    The only time that such information CAN be accessed would be, I believe, in the pursuit of a crime or criminals, for law enforcement purposes, and would require a subpoena.

    No Yahoo will not do this. This is probably a computer virus. Although Yahoo has rights to terminate an account, they can not send out personal letters without the owner’s consent.

    If it was not a virus, your friend may have been fibbing :)

    I seriously doubt Yahoo employees have time to sit around and go through and read everyone’s saved messages and send them to others. If they did they would already be in the news for it and people would be leaving Yahoo by the masses. Sounds like whoever told your friend that is a liar. Maybe that person is the one going into your friend’s account.
