I think an aggressive marketing campaign directed at the world’s sheep would be ideal. They make a lot of noise - call it ‘worship’; they are ideal followers and never seek the lead - call it ‘pious devotion under the yolk of Christ’; you will quadruple the number of believers - call it a ‘miracle’; you don’t have be metaphoric when you address your flock any longer - call it ‘practical’. A win for ewe and me.

Some might, others are doing very well. Look at the anti-gay mega-churches, for example. There’s always another person willing to believe homophobia will get them to Heaven!

Let’s review. The Catholic church, the paragon of Christian faith. Changed the original Bible teachings to gain power over the faithful. Bible says not to worship graven images. Catholic church condoned murder and destruction throughout its history to collect precious jewels, gold statuary and other religious icons and paintings and have them hidden in the Vatican archives. Bible says it is wrong to condemn your fellow man, yet the Catholic church does it on a regular basis, except where they are at fault; i.e. their own priests who are convicted pedophiles.
Islam, teaching the true faith. Says in the original Quran that if another believes in one religion and it isn’t the Muslim religion he or she is free to do so, without recriminations from the Islamic community. That went out the window. Islam teaches that it is a sin for thousands of years to commit ******* and causing the deaths of innocents anywhere. But a few insane Islamic teachers say it is okay now and you will go to paradise as a martyr for Allah, those teaching were thrown out the same window. Says only the words and deeds of Mohammed are true and to follow them faithfully, that went out the window too, when the selfsame Islamic teachers decided that any country that funneled billions of dollars to help them were in actuality the Great Shaitan and to do their utmost to kill them. Murder as a tool was condemned by the true Muslim faith, but again the insane Islamic teachers decided that they only know the Word of Allah and they were told by Allah personally that murder, death, destruction, lies and any other technique is okay as long as the innocent believed what the teachers told them.
Does that pretty much sum up the two major religions today? In my opinion, it does.
