You would probably want to contact their corporate office in writing and send your letter “return receipt”. This means you’re guaranteed someone will have to sign for your letter at corporate. (They probably get thousands of emails every day and just ignore and delete those that start off with, “I have a great idea on how Yahoo could…..”)
Sending a letter return receipt (and saving a copy of the letter) gives you proof that you submitted an idea just in case they like it and start using it without your permission.
