How can I cancel Yahoo email and other services?

I want to close my Yahoo account, including my Yahoo email account immediately. I will instruct my credit card to not honor future charges from Yahoo.
What can I do to cancel all Yahoo services now?

Free email service that allows smpt incoming and outgoing?

I KNOW YAHOO AND MSN DO NOT PROVIDE SMTP SERVERS FOR INCOMING AND OUT GOING MAIL DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD FREE EMAIL CLIENT THAT DOES?
