how to enable email sending services in windows xp professional?



i m using windows xp professional service pack 2.
i m not being able to send any email outside by outlook 2003.
but i m receiving emails in outlook 2003 as well.
can anybody tell me what to do..? is there any sevice is off. please help.

  1. You will need your smtp addy. this can be found on your ipps webstie in support or give them a call.

  2. What the first poster ment to say is this.

    You have an email address which you setup in outlook. So lets say you have a godaddy account. You need an smtp address in order to send emails. You must contact godaddy and ask them what that is.

  3. This may involve the setup of the account, especially “Send” parameters. You can usually get help from your ISP if the FAQ isn’t clear or satisfactory.
