I received an email offering baptism and confirmation services at the university where i work ?



is that legal?
are they allowed to send religious emails like this
i’m not religious by the way

    If it is a publicly-funded university and the services were offered by an arm of that university, then the answer is no, it is not legal.

    If it is a private university, particularly if the institution has a tie to a religious group, even if that tie is in the distant past and is only present in a few departments, then, yes, they have the right to send the e-mail.

    Now, if it is a publicly-funded university and the e-mail was spam and the group offering the services is not part of the university, then the university has not done anything wrong.
