you know how you can do html in notepad and you really don’t need dreamweaver but dreamweaver is better and easier to use but more expensive

is there a notepad version of doing your own e-mail marketing newsletter without using a service or buying software?

I guess there have been a couple of trial episodes that have aired, where Lew Rockwell, Peter Schiff, and Ron Paul have been interviewed in 60 minute segments.
