I am a highschool student doing a project on the stock market with one of my friends. we’re really trying to learn about the stock market but its really hard with some of the information on some websites. what kinds of stock are good to buy right now? feel free to send me an email. we would really appreciate some help. we’re playing a realistic stock market game on the website smartstocks.com and so far we’ve bought 500 shares of NOG and 300 of LIZ and lost all of our money.
Think about this economy, and what kind of industries might do well in this economy. Then pick a stock from that industry.

Take a look at trading ETF’s, if that’s allowed in the game. Instead of trading one lousy stock, trade a whole group of stocks or commodities.
If you think the stock market is going up, buy TNA – it’s leveraged 3X on the upside, based on the Russell Index.
If you think the stock market is going down, buy TZA – it’s leveraged 3X on the downside, based on the Russell Index.
If you think gold will continue to go up, buy the GLD etf.
If you think oil is going up, buy OIL, or short it if you think it’s going down.
If you think the US Dollar is going back up, buy UUP.
If you think the British Pound will continue to weaken, short the FXB.
If you think the Euro will continue to go up, buy the FXE.
