Free email marketing

I would like to learn how to use affiliate marketing to make money. Where and how do I sign up

I have all of my customers’ emails because it is part of their customer information. I know how to send an invoice to customers, but I would like to inform my customers of up coming sales, ect. I would like to be able to send an email to all customers at the same time, or email just my customers from Vancouver (for example). Is this possible?

We are a 2 person start-up company. We have purchased a company with 10 years history, very good credit rating, and at zero employees, in NorthEast USA. Since we are tight on budget and are working as full time consultants ourselves, we are unable to market and expand the company. We were wondering if there are any websites/resources (besides posting an Ad on a jobs website) which we can explore to communicate to potential IT services marketing personnel in the NorthEast USA, to see if we can work on a commission-only basis initially. Once we start serving 2-3 clients and place a few consultants, we can afford to switch to a salary + commission option. This can be a great option for a marketing person who has contacts in the market but would like to work from home or work flex-time.

Before I research this, I wanted to ask the Yahoo! Answers community first.

I am a fully credentialed special ed. teacher in mild/moderate disabilities in Southern California. I am currently pursuing my masters in Educational Therapy at one of the California State Universities.

Because of my daughter’s vast software collection and my own internet knowledge, I am very familiar with many educational software programs as well as educational freeware websites.

Can I use this knowledge as a part-time to full-time consultant/ corporate salesman? Let me add that I am also an experienced puppeteer who can build his own foam and cloth puppets for potential clients.

Can anyone out there share any information on marketing educational software?

for my brother’s business. He broke away from his old company and has been working for himself for about a year. He’s in sales (windows/doors). Things are picking up just by word of mouth….and he wants to hire me on to help him out with the paper work. He has boxes and boxes of papers, old clients…etc. First thing I am going to do is get these old clients into some kind of database system. And then we want to do some direct marketing. Someone suggested ACT! 2007. Anyone else agree? We have Macs. And can you give me idea (non-technical) of how this works, I have been staying home with my kids for 4 yrs, so go “slow”!
Can we even use this for the Mac??
Yeah yeah, I do understand both platforms. I chose Mac for personal use. I learned all my computer stuff on a Mac over 20 yrs ago. Then in the workforce, a good 15 years on PC. And my husband is actually the Tech Mgr for a high profile company, and knows PC very well. I agree PC is better for business, but we’d like to see what we can do right away with what we have. I run a new Local Business in Ann Arbor and need to get the word out on my services but can’t seem to find a LOCAL email list. Please help.

I have some direct marketing lists that I want to sell. They are generalized, regional specific lists (mostly customers based in Florida) and I want to try to sell them to people looking to expand their businesses, either those located in Florida or trying to build a base in Florida.

I am selling them cheaper than the going rate because I am just getting started. And while I know a lot of people sell to bigger direct marketing companies, I don’t really want to go that route right now.

Any suggestions? High traffic/high response sites preferred.

I’m a senior finance major and attempting to gain practical experience in the financial services industry. My goal is to be a trader one day but for now I’m looking for something good to put on my resume. I plan on calling and emailing perspective employers to see if they could use free labor.

My question is to those who have experience, is what kind of things to should I mention in an email or telephone conversation when I’m attempting to simply volunteer my time for only class credit and a resume booster. I’m not looking to get paid and I feel that this is to my advantage. live and breath the stock market and I want my passion to be noted. What things should I say or do?

Thanks. Just to clarify, we dont develop products but offer software development services for other companies, mostly small businesses. Any ideas on how we can market our services to target customers will be most helpful. Who should we contact? Who can we partner with? How can we get help on the sales front (on a commission basis). Are there existing forums or avenues for these? In short how can we get more clients and projects?

I know people in my line of work who are far more concerned with sales, marketing, and networking than the actual product that they put out. I, myself, am much more concerned with the product.

Are they onto something? Do I need to worry more about marketing aspects like they do?
