Does ebay motors really let you test the car for 5 days and then let you transfer the money to the seller?

I found a SUV on Craigslist and the guy that’s selling the SUV sent me this message after i agreed that i would like to buy the SUV

Thank you for your swift response. In order for us both to feel comfortable with the transaction, I propose we close the deal through Ebay Motors, since they are the biggest and the most trustworthy online market place, under their Vehicle Purchase Protection Program (they will work like a third party in this transaction). Basically, it’s similar to buying a truck locally, the money will be sent to their holding account, and they will keep the money until you will receive the truck. I will briefly describe the transaction steps so I can make things clearer for both of us:

1. Buyer and seller reach an agreement (price and delivery condition).
2. Seller sends all the details of the transaction to Ebay for registration.
3. Ebay will email us the forms on how to complete the transaction (invoice, payment details, buyer and seller protection policy)
4. Buyer sends the money to the Ebay Motors holding account.
5. Ebay Motors confirms to seller that the amount has been received.
6. Seller performs the required services (shipping, insurance).
7. Buyer receives the vehicle and has 5 days to inspect it.
8. Buyer accepts delivery and informs Ebay Motors about the acceptance.
9. Ebay Motors releases the money to seller.

If you won’t like the truck or if it is not as advertised, which I can assure you it won’t be the case because it’s a state of the art looking and working vehicle, it will be returned to me at my expense and you will receive a full refund from Ebay. I tried to be as clear as possible to be sure we are on the same page.

I need your consent as well as your name and shipping address, so we can register the transaction with Ebay in order to receive their instructions step by step on how to complete the transaction safely. If you have other questions feel free to email me, I hope we can do business together.

Is this really true.. that ebay lets you inspect the car for 5 days and then the money is transferred to the seller..?

Starting wedding photography, please help with my questions?

I am getting ready to start wedding photography, can someone honestly tell me how much I can expect to make on average per month living between Los Angeles and San Diego? I would think being between 2 major cities, advertising on craigslist, and in the local papers, being part of a church group, I would do fairly well and should be able to pull between 3 and 7 weddings each month. Does this sound realistic? I have an SLR with a hot box and flash, other lighting equipment. I believe as far as equipment Im ready and will probably do the 3 weddings for almost free. I am and buisness minded I have ran my own buisness before so I know how to market myself, I also sold cars before, so I am good at building customer relations. I think I take great pictures and have heard the same from other people. Ill let you be the Judge www.yountphotographyonline.com. I can handle constructive critisicsm. I just started this website. Comments/Suggestions plz email me @ j_yount_3@yahoo.com Thanks Josh

scam or not from craigslist. A photographer said he was doing photoshoots for free?

He scheduled me for a time and then included this in the email…

All images we create together will not be sold or given ownership to any other parties and will only be used in my creative portfolio and other personal marketing materials. For your participation I will give you a copy of all the best images we produce together in addition to 10 fully touched up images that I personally choose for my portfolio. I will not be able to shoot you without me copying your driver’s license or Passport and have you sign a model agreement.

Is the above typical (to have to copy your driver’s license) or is it totally a scam?
